MULTI-CULTURAL ART CREATIONS The goal of this visual arts program for youth ages 9-16 years old is to expose students to a variety of art from different cultures, and inspire them to create their own unique art forms. Learning about other cultures through art will help the students develop tolerance, and unity. These qualities strengthen their individual confidence, self-worth and self-image. A JOURNEY INTO CREATIVITY Through art we can express our deepest self and release our fears, hopes and dreams. I can teach you how to tap into your creativity and release it. This class will use art as a vehicle for self-exploration and discovery. Dialogue, drawing, and painting focused on the self-image will be used to bring out the inner creativity of each individual. Participants will create self-portraits, abstract art and collage works all based on this theme. All persons at every artistic level are welcome. The desire to create is the only requirement.
